ABOUT SUE
Sue is a local foodie legend, becoming the winner of the South West Home Chef of the Year two years running in 2016/17, as well as a food festival favourite in the demo tents and on the social medias.

Her cooking is not confined to her kitchen, she also cooks outdoors on her barbecues and in a wood-fired oven that she built herself.  She has a few other cooking titles under her hat including Sticky Toffee Pudding Champion, West Country Baking Champion, and has appeared on TV with James Martin.

You can find Sue working at Bigfire at The Shops @ Dartington, occasionally firing up and rustling up tasty treats, demoing at local Food & Drink Festivals, and for Taste of Game.  She also is a contributor for the UK BBQ Magazine and has previously written restaurant reviews for Crumbs Magazine Devon & The Attraction Press.

Join us as we go on a fire feast from around the world with the award-winning, Sue Stoneman. A master of the fire arts, she’s going to be taking us on a tour showing the flexibility of what can be achieved when cooking with fire.

Every meal created throughout the day will have both a meat and vegetarian option - giving you the knowledge of what can be done with a little out-of-the-box thinking. Using rubs and marinades, she’ll be able to give you the tricks and tools needed to make anything outdoors.

A full 3 meal affair, you’ll be creating breakfast, lunch, and dinner over fire during this course: from the humble waffle (with crazy ingredients), through to an entire 3 course Sunday Roast - all with vegetarian alternatives throughout each meal.

Fireside waffles
Kicking off the day with some cozy live-fire cooking, we’ll be knocking up waffles from the traditional to the unconventional ingredients to help get those culinary juices flowing!

Skewers from around the world
Flatbreads are the king of the grill - versatile to fit any cuisine type, we’ll knock up some lunchtime kebabs to showcase what can be done on a grill in under 30 mins from start to finish.

Full Sunday Roast and sides
Here you’ll create an entire 3-course meal all on the bbq: from a sensational starter, your main course with all the sides that Sunday is known for, plus a couple of famous Sue Stoneman desserts to wrap it all off.
